An artist’s identity is built over time. For Screalla, that identity connects Chicago determination, Southern hip-hop influences, and a lifelong instinct for making music on his own terms. Recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur Tion Brown is the founder and CEO of Blue Smoke Entertainment.

In his 2015 Parlé Magazine interview, Screalla described teaching himself keyboard and beat-making, and developing his label while serving in the military in San Diego. That independent foundation continues to inform his work as a recording artist and producer.

His catalog moves from FishScale and Victoria’s Secret to Pimp Chronicles, Bright, Brilliant, & Black, and 4240 Hustle Squad: Luxury Music. Collaborations with V Dough, Cold Hard, Choosin Season, Lúmera, and J. Royale connect different voices within that evolving sound.
